Wayne County Parks

2011 is a rebuilding year for the parks department. There are eight pavilions that are currently not available for rental. Stay tuned for updates and availability.

Please note that all Wayne County Parks are “Carry in/Carry out” and Alcohol is Prohibited

B. Forman Park
4507 Lake Road, Pultneyville, NY 14538 (Lakeside-NO swimming) 25 acres of trees and lawns with a ball field, shuffleboard court , volleyball net, and swings.

The House - seats 80 people- has a kitchen with an electric stove and refrigerator, outdoor grill. Cost is $80.00 and $25.00 more if kitchen is requested.

Pavilion #1 - seats 150 people, can be fully enclosed, no kitchen, limited electricity, outdoor grill. Cost is $65.00.

Pavilion #2 - open pavilion, seats approximately 60 people, no electricity, outdoor grill.

Pavilion #3 - open pavilion, seats approximately 60 people, no electricity, outdoor grill.

Pavilion #4 - seats 50 people, open on 2 sides, limited electricity, outdoor grill. Cost is $45.00.

Palmyra Aqueduct Park
2685 Route 31, Palmyra, NY 14522 (Canal side - NO swimming) Historic site on over 3 acres-

East Pavilion - open pavilion, seats approximately 60 people, no electricity, drinking fountain, (10) grills, (14) picnic tables, ball field, Historic Aldrich Change Bridge, trail access. Cost is $30.00.

West Pavilion - open pavilion, seats approximately 60 people, -no electricity, drinking fountain, (4) grills, (14) picnic tables, access to trail, outhouse. Cost is $30.00.

Swift's Landing
4100 Hogback Road, Palmyra, NY 14522 (Creekside - NO swimming) Located on over 17 acres along Ganargua Creek, which flows into the Barge Canal.

Open pavilion, seats approximately 60 people, (3) grills, (15) picnic tables, no electricity or water, small playground, outhouse. Cost is $30.00.

Norsen Bridge Park
6744 Pulver Road, Newark, NY 14513 (Creekside - NO swimming) Located on 36 acres

Open pavilion, seats approximately 60 people, (5) grills, (14) picnic tables, no electricity or water, small playground, ball field, port-a-potty (handicapped accessible). Cost is $30.00.

Black Brook Park
9472 Old Route 31, Clyde, NY 14433 A historic site of the Old Erie Canal on over 20 acres-

Open pavilion, seats approximately 60 people, (5) grills, (13) picnic tables, no electricity or water, ball field, trail access, outhouse. Cost is $30.00.

Abbey Park
177 West Water Street, Lyons, NY 14489 (Canal Side - NO swimming)

Open pavilion, seats approximately 60 people, no electricity, (6) grills, (15) picnic tables, small playground, flushable toilets. Cost is $30.00.

Blue Cut Nature Center
7210 Route 31West, Lyons, NY 14489

No Pavilion, "lean to", (3) grills, (5) picnic tables, nature trails, outhouse.

Lock Berlin Park

Wide Waters Canal Park
5271 Route 31, Newark, NY 14513 (Canal Side - NO swimming) On the Barge Canal-

No Pavilion, (11) grills, (9) picnic tables, playground, outhouse, free boat launch.

Sodus Point Beach Park
7598 First St. (Lake Ontario-Supervised swimming allowed both lake side and bay side, open pavilion for all to use - we do not rent it, no electricity, playground, grills, bathhouse, with outside shower, 7 days a week 11am-7pm .
