Staff Psychologist Position Available

Location:         Wayne County Mental Health – Wayne Behavioral Health Network

                        Lyons, New York

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in psychology granted on the basis of completion of a program of study in psychology registered with the Dept of Education and a current NYS License to practice as a Clinical Psychologist. At least 2 years experience working in a community mental health setting is desired. Thorough knowledge of psychological tests and measurements. Thorough knowledge of personality development and factors which contribute to mental, emotional and social maladjustment and deficiencies; thorough knowledge of the terminology used in the field. Doctoral graduates will also be considered and welcome to apply.

Description:

This is a Civil Service Position (future exam required – not required at time of hire) classified and is a confidential management position.  Full-time 35 hrs/week position working with an interdisciplinary team in a community mental health agency. Provides a full array of psychological services which may include any of the following: intake assessment and screening; diagnostics; psychological evaluations; administration, scoring and interpretation of psychological tests and measurements; treatment planning; psychotherapy; behavior modification; court ordered evaluations; staff & community education; staff clinical supervision & training.  Salary $55,000 and competitive benefits package including: Health Care, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Vacation/Personal Leave, Paid Holidays, NY State Retirement, Life Insurance, flexible schedule, modern facility, training opportunities, etc.   Service
