Since 1933 Wayne County Public Health, now known as Wayne Community Nursing, has provided our community with home health care. A caring group of professionals supply the residents of Wayne County with a wide range of services in times of need. Neighbors caring for neighbors.

Wayne Community Nursing Care has years of experience in assisting you with your recovery and regaining your independence…all in the comfort of your own home.
We are a not-for-profit agency whose services are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Our services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Preferred Care, HMOs and a multitude of other insurance carriers. Self-pay is available as well with a sliding fee scale, for individuals without health insurance. No one is denied premium health care services due to the inability to pay.
