The Children & Youth Services Clinic treats youth, ages 3 to 18 for emotional and mental health problems. Therapists, counselors, nurses, and psychiatrists are available to treat your child in a team approach. Intake Appointments can be scheduled by calling the above number or by walking in. Costs are covered by many insurances, but a sliding-scale fee is available. No one is turned away for inability to pay. Case Management and Substance Abuse Screenings are available. Treatment is recovery-focused and family centered. Specialties include the treatment of ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma/abuse, and crisis intervention. Some in-home outreach services are available, based on need.

In addition to the main clinic site, services are available at the following School Satellite Sites:

  • Sodus Primary School
  • Sodus Intermediate School
  • Leavenworth North Rose Wolcott School
  • Roosevelt School, Newark

Services include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Telephone and Walk-In Screening for Appointment scheduling
  • Pre-Admission Screening
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning
  • Case Management, both Standard Case Management and Intensive Case Management
  • Crisis Services
  • Verbal Therapies: Individual, Group & Family. Verbal therapy includes play therapy.
  • Psychiatric Assessment, Health Screening, and Medication Therapy
  • Symptom Management for children, means a set of skill building interventions
  • Clinical Support Services provided to collaterals
  • Post Hospital Screening within 5 business days
  • Referral
  • Discharge Planning
  • Family Work
  • Substance Abuse Screening
