Fire Police

New Course - 21 Training Hours

Course Overview: The course is designed to provide a designated Fire Police Officer the authorization necessary to meet general Municipal Law 209-c. This is the sole course in New York State that will provide all Fire Police Officers the required training and authorization. **Participants will be required to pass a written examination and a skills test for certification as a Fire Police Officer.

Prerequisites: Appointed Fire Police by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and successful completion of NIMS 100 and NIMS 700 by end of course.
