Ice/Cold Water Rescue – Technician Level

This course provides an advanced level ice rescue training including self-rescue, shore based ice rescue techniques, and go ice rescue techniques. This is a hands-on training program which includes a significant amount of on ice time for skill practice. It also addresses the effects of cold water on victims, ice rescue techniques, off shore techniques and ice rescue equipment. Course will include several scenario based ice rescue exercises.

**Please Note… All participants must bring their own Ice/Cold Water Rescue Suit** When you call the office to register, I will have more information about additional items possibly needed.

A registration fee of $25 will be charged for each individual taking the class. Only 2 people from each department will be allowed to register (max class size is 20) call my office at 946-5640 with the number of personnel interested from your department. At that time further instruction will be given regarding the registration process.
